Today was the day that I did not have that much to do. Today, most of it was one on one meetings so I was only busy in the morning and the evening to set up for the gala dinner and awards ceremony. I got up at around 6:45 because I had a meeting at 7:30 in the office to discuss the day’s plan of events. Today, we had one keynote in the morning as well as a panel discussion. During that time, I was by the stage with the AV team making sure everything went okay.
After the panel, the were two meetings slots before lunch, for lunch, we ordered subway because we did not have access to the lunch, Lunch was good, it did take some time to arrive.
After lunch, I walked around the hall to take a look at the items. After lunch, 2:00 to 6:30 pm were one on one meetings. Some off the items were really cool. I also got a new screen protector for my phone for free. They have a machine that cuts out the right size for the phone, it was really cool.
After that, I went up to my room for 30 minutes to relax and change for the Gala dinner. At 5 pm, me and Ryan went to the ballroom to do a sound check and voting system check to make sure it would run smoothly and without any problems.
After that, at around 7:30, we let people in tot the ballroom so the could sit down and wait, we did start 15 minutes late because not a lot of people had arrived so we wanted half the room to fill up before beginning. Once it had filled up, we started with a performance. it was really cool. Then we did the awards. There were 11 awards.
After the awards, there was another performance, then the food opened up. During that time, they had a DJ playing music. It was a really fun time. A third performance happened and after that, most people left to go party elsewhere. Because there was another event the next day, so we had to move our office to the business center. This was around 10pm. At around 11pm, I said bye to my dad because he is going to Jakarta for 2 days because he had another conference t attend. After that. I went back too my my room and watch some youtube for 30 minutes before going to sleep.
