As soon as my visa came trough, we had decided that we were taking the night flight. Our earlier plan was if the visas did not come was to go to Ikea for dinner but instead, we were going to Dubai, so once my visa came, we started packing pretty quickly, it was a bit rushed but since I was going on holiday, I was fine with it.
After we had finished packing, we got in our car and left and went to my dad friend’s house so he could drop us to the airport so we would not have to leave the car there.
Once he dropped us to the airport, we quickly checked and after checking in, we exchanged some money. Following that we went to immigration which was very quick, just needed to show my face twice and I was through. We after that went to duty to buy my cousin some alcohol as a thank you gift. We bought two bottles.
After that we went to a lounge. We sat there for an hour before moving to a different lounge. Here I had some pasta and mini sandwiches as well as some soda water. During that time, my dad was on a online meeting so that why we were there for a long time but the seats and ambience were very nice. We sat at that lounge for roughly an hour as well. I had some snacks as well. I had some soup and mini chocolate cakes.
After we left, we walked around the transit area for a while before heading to our gate. the line for security was quite long so we decided to sit opposite and wait for the line to get shorter so it would be easier to walk in and there would be no line. A while later we walked across, did security, scanned our boarding passes and boarded the plane. The seats were pretty comfy. I watched 3 episodes of Brooklyn 99 during the flight as well as Die Hard.
